The Srihari Rameswarm Manokamna Sidh Pith Mandir Trust FREE schools started their service initiatives  by providing education to underprivileged rural children in SodhiyawaVillage District Ayodhya Uttar Pradesh , in 1981 with 30 students. Location of the School

The land for the proposed School building is located in rural areas V./P. Sodhiyawa District Ayodhya Uttar Pradesh state.

Current Student’s Strength and Class Rooms

The school educates students in, 1st to 12 standards.

All the students are from families of poor farmers, farm workers, maids, and laborers and most of them are the first generation of their families to have an education.

Apart from the education we provide them mid-day meal. Meditation, sports events, and cultural programs, educational field trips are also given.

Livelihood and Women empowerment

Hundreds of women Self Help Groups have been formed primarily for growing saving habits and internal lending to initiate petty business ventures for income. They have village-level group clusters and federations at the Gram Panchayat level. Both women and men were encouraged for making household & puja products like Agarbatti,dhoopbatti & many more puja products, and the products are used for both consumption and selling purposes. The farmers were trained and assisted in the cultivation of different types of flowers were found to be highly beneficial to the people improving their family status with supplementary income.

Environment and Disaster Response

Since the Ayodhya region is highly disaster-prone, people face disaster situations in the form of cyclones, tidal surges, floods, etc. almost every year. Therefore; Manokamna Trust has taken an effort to educate people/people’s groups responding to disaster situations. Disaster Response groups are formed and trained on the issues of rescue, shifting victims, especially women children, and aged persons to safer places/temporary shelters, arrange and providing relief items like food, water, and medicines from Government or non-Government sources
